Frequently Asked Questions

How do I indicate my abstract category and presentation preference?
During the submission process, you will select a topic category for each abstract and an approach to facilitate the review process. You will then indicate your preference for either an oral or poster presentation.

How will the final presentation format be determined?
The Scientific Program Committee will review abstracts and determine final presentation format of oral or poster presentation.

Does the submitter of an abstract actually need to to be attending the meeting?
The person who is presenting the abstract must register to attend the meeting.  If the submitter is not the same person as the presenter, only the presenter is required to register to attend the meeting.

Can I make a presentation if I am not attending the meeting in person?
Presenters selected for oral presentations may submit a pre-recorded presentation that will be due in early October. There will be no live remote presentations. Poster presentations are in-person only presentations.

Can the abstract fee be waived?
We are unable to waive any fees associated with the Annual Meeting, such as the abstract submission fee and the registration fee.

If you wish to submit an abstract, the abstract submission fee is $55 US.
