To renew your membership follow the steps below:

  • Click the Renew Your Membership button below
  • ​Use your email as your username adn your new 16 digit password (or reset your password)
  • Go to My Account. Go to My Profile.
  • Click on the Renew button on the right side of the page.


Memberships begin July 1 and end June 30. If you join any month between July 1 (current year) and March 30 (following year), your dues will expire June 30. If you join on or after April 1 of the current year, your dues will expire June 30 of the following year.

Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is a dynamic international forum for the exchange of the latest scientific and clinical advances in tropical medicine/global health. It draws approximately 4,800 professionals representing academia, government, non-profits, philanthropy, NGOs, industry, military and private practice.

American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene 
All members receive free digital access to the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and members-only discounts on author fees.

Education
Sit for the Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers’ Health Examination (CTropMed® Program). The CTropMed® program recognizes individual excellence in training and knowledge in clinical tropical medicine and travelers’ health.

Networking 
Connect with respected leaders in the field. Whether in person at the Annual Meeting, through the Society’s five subgroups or social media, members stay in touch to share the latest data, engage in scientific discourse and collaborate on Society activities.

Webinars
Members can attend or later view our exclusive webinars, hosted by ASTMH leadership and the Society's subgroups. 

Advocacy
ASTMH advocates for strong U.S. funding for and adoption of evidence-based
policies that promote tropical medicine/global health.

Digital Education 
The ASTMH Global Online Tropical Medical Education (GOTropMEd) website, is a members-only benefit offering online talks and presentations by world experts in tropical medicine, hygiene and global health, including rarely seen interviews with TropMed luminaries.

Advocacy
Society subgroups provide unique forums for members to engage in core scientific, educational, advocacy and policy issues related to a specific expertise with fellow stakeholders of similar interests. Join a subgroup to receive information on networking, pre-meeting course and symposia activities planned for Annual Meetings to enhance career development.

That email you received offering to provide you with a list of attendees for the 2021 Annual Meeting? It's a scam. Just like every other email claiming to have a list of ASTMH members to share. The Society never has and never will sell, share or distribute email addresses.
