Location:
Online
The Travel Medicine Review and Update Course offers a comprehensive review of the ISTM Body of Knowledge, with a focus on the latest advancements in the field. This course is tailored for physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals who provide care and advice to travelers, expatriates, and migrants.
Our expert faculty will cover essential topics, including vaccines, adventure travel, bites and envenomation, food and water exposures, risk assessment, and malaria. The curriculum also addresses the unique needs of special groups, such as pregnant women, pediatric travelers, immigrants, VFR (visiting friends and relatives) travelers, and immunocompromised individuals. Recent developments in travelers' diarrhea, immunizations, malaria treatments, and emerging infectious diseases will also be highlighted, providing a well-rounded update on current best practices in travel medicine.
