ASTMH asks Paul Barnsley, PhD, the Research and Analysis Lead for Policy Cures Research, about the new The Impact of Global Health R&D report, which found that every dollar spent on neglected disease research and development (R&D) and developing life-saving products returns $405 in wider societal and economic gain. 

The Society mourns the loss of Larry Ash, PhD, professor emeritus of infectious and tropical diseases in the Department of Epidemiology at UCLA and a member of ASTMH since 1956.

Monique Wasunna, the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative’s (DNDi) Africa Ambassador, is the opening keynote for this year's Annual Meeting in New Orleans, November 13.
