April-May 2024 were busy months for ASTMH in Washington, DC, with the Society engaged in several policy-related meetings and events focused on a range of topics, from neglected tropical disease to pandemic preparedness and response. 

The 2024 Walter Reed Medal, Bailey K. Ashford Medal, Clara Southmayd Ludlow Medal and Joseph Augustin LePrince Medal are open. Submit a nomination by June 19. Only ASTMH members may submit a nomination; however, non-members are eligible to receive a nomination for a medal.

More than 300 people from 50 different countries registered to become ASTMH members in April.
